Who is Martin?

I am a Vietnamese American filmmaker and freelancer based in Boston with a B.A. in Media Arts Production from Emerson College. Specializing in Post Production, Videography, and Creative Direction, I have worked on a variety of productions ranging from TV studio shows, documenting nonprofit events, cinematic promotional videos for book publishers, viral 7+ million views TikTok brand promotions, and award-winning narrative short films. As a working filmmaker and life-long learner, I strive to tell stories through my work that challenges the status quo and uplifts unique perspectives.

I also regularly post video essays on YouTube channel The Erudite Critic, dissecting media and cultural events through the lens of critical theory... and a sprinkle of internet humor.
